Dear Friends and Music Lovers,
SYMPHONY HALL is Gardiner Spring Auditorium. For over sixty years the
seats in GWS Auditorium have been carrying yours and thousands of others
weight. They have finally said "UNCLE" and began to disintegrate.
I am sure you have tried to sit in one of these tired seats only to find that
it tips, leans, or squashes. But when they become a HAZARD, it is time to
replace these Veterans of the past.
This will be a program to "Kick-Off" fund raising, so bring your check
book. Believe me, the program will be worth the price. Here is the
Show Outlined:
- Chaffey High Band will enter the auditorium down both outside aisles
- Performance by the Chaffey High Pep Squad
- Slide Show of the evolution of Gardiner W.Spring Auditorium
- Short performance #1 of Chaffey High School's production of "Peter Pan"
- Review of performers: Glenn Miller, Bob Hope, Yehudi Menhuim etc, etc, etc
- History of Chaffey High School Alumni Association
- Chaffey High Jazz Band
- Gardiner W. Spring Auditorium, Ontario's Historical Gem
- Short performance #2 of CHS's "Peter Pan"
- Chaffey High Band and Chaffey High Chorus
WOW! Bring two check books...
Earlier that morning the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band will be
performing for the Memorial Service at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario at
10:00 am.
